La Vie D’Arthur – the cover

On May 1st we publish La Vie D’Arthur by CJ Stone and Arthur Pendragon. It’s an extraordinary book, a part-ghosted autobiography of the ex-biker turned Druid leader and parlimentaty candidate Arthur Pendragon. He is, in his own words, “that nutter who thinks he’s King Arthur” and he has the burden of living his live accordingly – a burden which has given rise to one of the most fascinating true life stories of modern times.

The book is a revised version of the text originally published as The Trials of Arthur (ThorsonsElement 2003). The new edition needed a new cover, so we commissioned a portrait of Arthur from the superb Vanessa Winship – and it surely bodes well for the book that a photographer of her stature should agree to come on board (If you are not familiar with her work, we heartily recomend that you take a look at her website.)

Here, then, is the cover for LA VIE D’ARTHUR:

A great tale, and an amazing cover photo, a must read for every Pagan and activist out there. Full of the weird.
